I love to write because:
► I can express
► I get to learn
► It helps me to see clearly
► It makes me feel good
► It makes it easier to remember
I began writing when I was a child. At school, teachers would often ask me to read my essays to the class after being reviewed. I was once chosen as the school’s candidate for a national writing contest that was sponsored by Coca-Cola Spain. Encouraged by some teachers and friends, I entered several contests during my adolescence. At age 17, I won a regional contest that had been organized to promote young talents.
As an adult, I kept writing. There has been fiction, non-fiction and fictional reality. I usually write short stories, essays and poetry.
From 2003 to 2010, I was involved in several musical projects. Besides doings vocals and/or playing guitar, I wrote songs for all of them: Horror Dementia, Conde Orlok, Vertigen, Go Ape and LSD Ravens.
Although I mostly write for myself, there has been times that I’ve published part of my work as an adult. I’ve used several digital platforms: DeadJournal, LiveJournal, Blogger, WordPress…
In addition, I used to share my words at times on social media: Fotolog, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram…
Although I’ve deleted most of my work from the Internet (except a project on Blogger), I keep most of the stuff I’ve written. These are some of the collections I’ve authored:
► A Hanging Garden
► Crucified Dreams
► Vertigen (Tinc vertigen, però m’agrada)
At present, I’m writing the blog section of this website. I touch on several topics about life and work, such as:
► Barcelona & Catalonia
► Chicago & the U.S.
► Ethnicities & Genealogy
► Languages & Communication
► Personal & Business Relations
► Smoking Cessation
